LORENZO FATTICCIONI

is a scholar of the history of classical archaeology. He performs his research at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa. He deals in particular with antiques, with history of collecting and, in parallel, with computer methodologies applied to Cultural Heritage. In the latter area he deals with the design of databases for the management of historical, artistic and documentary sources and websites for museology and communication of cultural heritage. He has coordinated, inter alia, projects Monumenta Rariora. Metamorfosi dell’Antico, on the reception of antiques statues in collections of engravings and Arretinum Museum, on the history of collecting of antiquities in Arezzo area. Among the recent publications he edited Le componenti del classicismo secentesco. Lo statuto della scultura antica.
