teaches at the Queen’s University (Kingston, Canada).  Her research is focused on Greek, Etruscan and Roman archaeology (Il thymiaterion nel mondo greco. Analisi delle fonti, tipologie, impieghi, Roma 1998; with F. Colivicchi Archeologia delle regioni d’Italia,Umbria, Roma 2008) and on the role of classical antiquity in the Italian culture from the Renaissance to the 18th century. For La Stanza delle Scritture she wrote the book Il Catalogo de’ bronzi e degli altri metalli antichi di Luigi Lanzi. Dal collezionismo mediceo al museo pubblico lorenese.
